Greetings all... a spicy 99 degrees outside, humidity is up there, and all of the outside water bowls are topped off every couple of hours... birds, squirrels and rabbits are partaking of that... one squirrel is playing yard guard, alerting all when the hawks are nearby.. might get some rain around midnight and this weekend... small shed is on a concrete slab, and 2+ (?) rabbits seem to be residing under it...
Crew is fine, sacked out in the LR.. Impulsive Rumble seems to get urges for lap time, and will come dashing into the office room and make a 4 point landing in my lap.. maybe 2 second warning, as he is already airborne on track for the landing when I hear him coming... is real quick....

tigerose: Hello all! Back from the far North today. It's a looong trip by oneself. Luckily I had tunes on a couple of christmas tunes, that was kinda funny.
I've been greeted by both cats. That was nice.

Friday Eli's Boy and I leave to set up camp at a Living History weekend. I am not prepared AT ALL! I have some stuff set aside, but I really neeed some time to lay everything out and make sure I don't forget something. I will forget year it was half of our breakfast! Arg!

Betty update; she's still at the physical therapy facility on the far side of town. Asked for a bunch of supplies I couldn't find. But I've been collecting the mail and am learning how to empty the the litterbox on a somewhat consistent schedule.
In other news, the raccoon family has finally left the crawlspace over my place, due in no small part to the oven heat I get here in the summertime directly under the roof. The Agway critter repellent spray helped too.

For at least one of the reenactments. This event is just my son and I. So, quick easy meals.

Greetings to all!
My wife's operation went better than expected with only the minimum removal of tendon needed to get the job done. Sadly, we had to call 911 to get her intothe house! 🙀 A serious miscalculation on our part, no doubt. I do have a ramp company coming out early next week to give us a rental quote and take measurements. Anything to make her life easier. Our routine is: she sleeps on a trundle bed 4' from the bathroom and I sleep in a comfy recliner and yells or rings a bell as necessary. That's it. Not much else to do for a few weeks....

Saturday, Sunday, and Monday here for us. Around 85°, which is quite warm for here. But it's been rainy and cool for the last week or so, so it's time for a little heat.
