New school uniform rule being rolled out in England from autumn term

A new school uniform law is being rolled out across England this autumn term. Labour Party g overnment officials have previously confirmed the major rule change for schools, which limits branded uniform requirements. Under the new legislation, there is now a maximum of three branded pieces per uniform. The law affects school jumpers, blazers, trousers, and skirts. Ties are not included in these restrictions for secondary schools, though. The Department for Education previously said the affordability of school uniforms “should never be a barrier to the schools for which parents apply”.
