Artist: Stellabelle "I paint about my real life. Everyone has some major weak point and mine has always been fear of intimacy. This is how I’ve been feeling lately, as I’ve experienced some love things that I thought didn’t exist inside anymore. When I think about intimacy, I think of myself without hands and feet, like I am suddenly unable to move and without the necessary tools of locomotion. That’s why in this painting, my feet and hands are absent. This has always been my case, even from a young age. I knew love was going to be so hard for me. I think now is the time to heal from this horrible secret, this gut-wrenching fear of intimacy………..I think it’s now or never. But I am afraid………still ."
