The Desk is a stop-frame animated collaboration between Shantell Martin and photographer Andrew Boyle.
In early 2021, Shantell ventured out to Brooklyn, NY to Andrew's studio. The result of a day in front of a camera, and even more hours of handmade stop-frame animation. Shantell sits at a desk pondering the world, seeking the beginning of a new idea, adjusting her comb as her artwork moves and lives behind her in this playful and rare collaboration.
