Florida joins Kansas with Ripple sponsorship
In July 2026, the Kansas Jayhawks announced their sponsorship with Ripple. The Jayhawks' uniforms will feature an XRP logo on them as part of the deal.
However, the deal with Florida is a step further, with the logo being placed on Florida's field.
Cryptocurrency sponsorships are becoming more and more common. The Philadelphia 76ers have a sponsorship with , and the Los Angeles Lakers' famous Staples Center is now called Arena.
So, this could be part of a growing trend in college athletics, and Florida is set to earn a large amount of money to feature the logo on the field in Gainesville.
