Why use Coinfolytics widgets

Your sentence, live figures

A price sits inside your own text and reads like it: write "Bitcoin is {price} today" and the price stays current.

Light on your page

One script of about 14 KB that loads after your page, one request per refresh for the figures of every widget on it, and nothing while the tab is in the background.

Read by search engines and AI

A figure is text in your HTML, not a picture or a frame, so search engines and AI assistants read it with your sentence. Without JavaScript it stays the figure you pasted.

No cookies, no tracking

The widgets set no cookies and run no ads or analytics, so there is nothing to add to your cookie banner.

2,000+ coins

Any of 2,000+ coins, in 58 currencies. Pick how often it refreshes: every 5 minutes to every hour.

Free, no account

No sign-up, no key and no limit on sites or page views.

How it works

  1. Build it. Open a widget's page, pick the coins and what to show, then copy the code.
  2. Paste it. Open your editor's HTML view and paste it where the widget should show.
  3. Publish. The figures are live as soon as the page is, and they update by themselves from then on.

Where to paste it

  • WordPress: a Custom HTML block, or the Text tab of the classic editor.
  • Blogger: switch the post to HTML view.
  • Ghost: an HTML card.
  • Webflow: an Embed element.
  • Wix: Embed code, then Embed HTML.
  • Squarespace: a Code block.
  • Your own site: anywhere in the page's HTML.

Medium and Substack do not run scripts: there a widget stays what you pasted.

Questions

Yes. There is no account, no API key and no limit on sites or page views. A free widget links back to Coinfolytics: a price links its coin's page, and the ticker, the list, the chart and the converter carry a small credit line. The Investor plan and above can turn the link off.
When the page opens, then every 5, 15 or 30 minutes or every hour, as you choose. Never more often than every 5 minutes, and not while the reader's tab is in the background. A price comes from a live exchange feed when one covers the coin, otherwise from our market data, a few minutes old.
No. The script is about 14 KB compressed and loads after your page. It asks for the figures of all the widgets on a page together, once per refresh (a chart also asks for its line), sets no cookies and runs no ads or analytics.
Yes. A price in your text is plain text in your own HTML, not a picture or a frame: the figure you pasted is there for every crawler, and the script replaces it with the current one when the page runs. A crawler that runs JavaScript, as Google's does, reads the current figure.
