How to add the chart

Build it. Pick a coin, the range it opens on, the currency and the colours, then copy the code.
Paste it. Open your editor's HTML view and paste it where the chart should show, in an article or a sidebar. The script line goes once per page.
Publish. The figures are live as soon as the page is, and they update by themselves from then on.

WordPress: a Custom HTML block, or the Text tab of the classic editor.
Blogger: switch the post to HTML view.
Ghost: an HTML card.
Webflow: an Embed element.

Questions about the chart

Which coins and ranges can the chart show?

Any of 2,000+ coins over 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or 90 days. Readers switch the range with the buttons above the chart, and it opens on the range you pick. A range shows once we hold its whole history for the coin: until then its button is left out, and a chart set to open on it opens on the nearest range there is.

Where do the chart's prices come from?

From our own database: a price an hour for 24 hours and 7 days, a price a day for 30 and 90 days, and last the live price the chart shows above it. In another currency each point is converted at its own day's reference rate. A widget never calls another service.

What happens when a reader points at the chart?

The price and the time of the point under the pointer replace the headline, with a line and a dot on the point. On a phone, touch the chart and slide along it.

Can the chart match my site?

It is dark unless you pick light, and it fills the width of the box you put it in. Its line is green when the range ended higher and red when it ended lower, and its foot gives the range's low and high.

Why does it say "Prices by Coinfolytics"?

That line is the free chart's credit, a link to Coinfolytics. The Investor plan and above can turn it off in the builder.

Can I write the code by hand?

Yes. The chart is a div with data-cf-chart="bitcoin" (the coin's id as in its Coinfolytics address) and the script line once per page. Add data-cf-range="24h", "30d" or "90d" for the range it opens on (7 days by default), data-cf-cur="eur" for another currency, data-cf-every="15m" for the refresh (5m, 15m, 30m or 1h) and data-cf-theme="light" for light colours.
