Garden of the Subconscious

About Zuzana Breznanikova Art (Featured collection)

This digital painting was inspired by nature and the psychology of the mind, especially the theories of Carl Jung. The artist depicted the mind as an overgrown garden of the subconscious. The human condition is connected to the physical world and transcendental universe through the image of a plant.
In Carl Jung's concept of the archetypes, he perceived continuities between physical forms and psychic reality, patterns, and structures - that appear in nature and arise naturally in the mind.
