"Synchronicity" 7/7

About Zuzana Breznanikova Art (Featured collection)

This digital painting was inspired by synchronicity; a concept first introduced by psychologist Carl Jung.

He coined the term "synchronicity" to describe meaningful coincidences that conventional notions of time and causality cannot explain.

“Synchronicity is an ever-present reality for those who have eyes to see.”
– Carl Jung

Inspired by Jung’s concept of synchronicity, the artist depicted the eye as an ‘expanding consciousness’ bringing material of the unconscious mind to attention. By being alert and opening our eyes through insight and illumination we can gain a greater understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
