Hear about it when a coin crosses your price, moves more than you expect in 24 hours, or when your whole portfolio passes a value. Set one from any coin page, with or without an account.
Two ways to get alerts
Open any coin page, choose Set alert, and allow notifications. Up to 3 price alerts per browser, delivered as browser notifications even when no Coinfolytics page is open.
They stay for 90 days. You can see them, remove them or save them to an account on your browser alerts page.

Each alert fires once and turns itself off, or every time the price crosses again, at most as often as you choose.
What an alert can watch
A coin rising to or falling to a price you set.
A coin up or down more than a percentage you pick over 24 hours.
Your whole portfolio passing a total, up or down.
Any coin drifting further from its target share than the band you set.
How target mixes workHow alerts are checked
Coinfolytics compares each alert with the latest price, every 5 seconds on Investor and up and every 5 minutes on Market: a live exchange price where there is one, and its market data price where there is not. A portfolio alert values the whole portfolio the same way, and a 24h move is measured from the live price too.
An alert that fires every time re-arms only after the price has moved back, so a coin sitting on your number does not send you the same alert again and again.
