Lee Andrews breaks silence from jail on GMB after Katie Price split

Lee Andrews has broken his silence on his split from Katie Price in a voice note sent to Good Morning Britain . The ex-glamour model also appeared on the ITV morning show on Wednesday, 16 September, alongside Susanna Reid and Ed Balls, just a few weeks following her split from Lee. The pair had embarked on a whirlwind romance earlier this year, tying the knot in January after knowing each other for just days. However, their romance hit a snag when accusations against Lee surfaced. After eight months, Katie, 48, revealed she ended things with Lee via WhatsApp after "the final straw" was allegedly finding out he only had £2.22 in his crypto wallet, not the millions he professed to possess. Katie has now discussed her breakup on Good Morning Britain, while Lee, who declined an invitation to appear on the programme months ago, sent a voice note from a 'civil jail' in Dubai claiming that Katie had been checking the wrong bank account. He alleged he had been "thrown under the bus" and told Good Morning Britain: "Katie's actually called me a liar on many occasions. That's because she's been looking at or taking information from third parties because she's not very crypto savvy. So obviously she gave my information out, and the story was sold, which I was not happy about," reports OK! . "I don't think you should do that to your husband. I've got my own issues obviously and my own thoughts on everything, but I'll never stop loving Katie." He also said he was "due out of jail very soon" and that things had been "taken out of context". He insisted: "I do have funds in my wallet," and vowed to "back that up on a lie detector". Setting the record straight, Katie told Susanna and Ed: "It is exhausting, and I'm sitting here listening, shaking my head because where do I start?" Katie went on: "As everyone knows, I've never been with a man with money, with me, it's never been about going with a man with money. I'm self-made and I have my own money. And with Lee, it's never been about the money." She continued: "He hasn't scammed me for money, but I feel he scammed me because he fabricated a person that doesn't exist." She insisted that she did fall in love with Lee, saying: "We get on, he's intelligent, we have fun." Reflecting on the beginning of their romance, before Katie jetted off to Dubai, she revealed Lee had shown her pictures of an enormous property but she told him she wasn't bothered whether he was wealthy or not. "For the whole nine months, it's been, 'I do crypto and have this money coming in,' I've heard it for nine months. "Then he sent me the wallet so I could see, I'm so rubbish online. While I was away in Marbella, there were a couple I've known for years, he does crypto himself. I said, Lee's sent me all of this, I don't know how to get in the wallet to see it... because Lee keeps saying, 'I've got 50m, I'm going to give you some millions, give my dad some millions,' and I'm like, 'You don't have to,' and he said, 'Well no, I need to spread it out anyway, I want to give you some... you're my wife, I want to do it'." Katie continued: "This isn't about the money but it adds to it." She added: "I love him but who is he? I loved the man I met, but I just can't take it. I'm not stupid, well obviously, I was stupid to fall for him." Katie also revealed Lee's former partners had "warned" her about Lee, saying: "I've read stuff, I've taken it on board." She went on: "It's come to the point where I have found out stuff myself, not by anyone else, to be like, yeah this is a joke. "I feel embarrassed, I feel like he's scammed my heart and stole my trust, and me defending a man constantly because he made me believe, 'You know I'm not like this,' if you can lie about things like that to me when I've constantly said to him, I don't care if you don't have money, I've fallen in love with you as a man... just don't lie to me," she said. She added: "Everyone has been right, but I had to find out myself because I have got Lee, and I'm the one who has met him, I'm the one who spent time with him, and it is so believable." She concluded the interview by saying: "I've loved being on my own in my own space without a man in my pocket, and I'm not sitting here like in previous relationships , heartbroken. I'm sitting here with a smile on my face because, in a way, he's done me a favour to make me realise." She added: "It's a shame it's come to an end because I can't let this drag on, I won't let it drag on. If only he was honest with me. That's all I ask."
